Doulos Hope - The Floating Library

Doulos Hope is a former cruise ship that has been converted into a floating library and book fair. It is operated by the German faith-based charity Gute Bücher für Alle (GBA Ships), a non-profit organization. The ship tours around the world, spreading knowledge, hope, and community development.

Recently a friend of mine had an opportunity to visit this floating library at the Labuan Liberty Wharf, and bought me some postcards related to this ship. tqsm♡

KLWYSE @ Malaysia World Youth Stamps Exhibition 2014

How i wish i was there.......... :(
last week, KL hosted the biggest ever stamps exhibition for six days, with some one million stamps from 46 countries on display and more than 300 exhibitors. i'm not be able to go..... but I'm thankful that two friends from KL, Rosyidah & PaMunbin willing to help me to buy some stamps for my postcrossing purpose. And the stamps arrived yesterday :) thank you so much Rosyidah and PaMunbin for your kind help!

Greetings from Land Below The Wind @ Sabah, I’m Carol, i've lived all my life here in Borneo Island of Malaysia, wonderful place surrounding by the beauty of nature..nice & friendly peoples around.

My greatest passion..of course collecting postcard & stamps from all over the world! :) thanks to PostCrossing for giving such opportunity to all postcard lovers:) I do like traveling but I’m not lucky enough for that :), but somehow via postcrossing, feels like I have been traveling all around to so many place! :-)..its been 16 years since I joined postcrossing and my collection keeps growing immensely.. thanks to everyone!

It’s a great feeling to open my postbox and knowing that postcard is there (instead of bills, statements, invoices, etc…..). Postcard arrived from someone somewhere in this world, at least we have a good reason to visit post office more often than usual, don’t you? :)
