Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a multi-island state in the Eastern Caribbean. The islands have a combined land area of 389 km2, and the largest of them, Saint Vincent has an area of 344 km2. The Grenadines consist of seven islands and 23 uninhabited cays and islets.
The name Saint Vincent originally applied to the mainland and the group of smaller islands associated with it. After the attainment of independence in 1979 the multi-island state was renamed Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. .

The Humor Monastery - Romania.

The Assumption of the Virgin and of Saint George's Church.

The Humor Monastery is one of the oldest and most famous holy places in Bucovina, surrounded by a lively village that has protected it for 500 years. That's how they came into existence. First the monastery, then the village. Located on the ridge of a hill with trees and meadows, in a landscape of overwhelming beauty, it is one of the greatest attractions of this corner of the country. The monastery is a jewel in itself, a fresco of the Romanian spiritual world, one of the most important monasteries of the Moldavian Middle Ages, included for its cultural and spiritual value in the UNESCO World Heritage.

Solina Poland.

Solina is a village in the Subcarpathian Voivodship in Poland, near the shores of artificial Lake Solina. It is a popular spa town and water sports centre. Solina lies in the Bieszczady mountains. Solina is best known for the tallest water dam in Poland, the Solina Dam, which creates the biggest artificial lake called Lake Solina.

World Postcard Day is celebrated on October 1st each year to celebrate the postcard and the amazing connections it creates. i feel so lucky to be the receiver of this beautiful Postcard, with all those colorful sign from Utrecht meetup!

Thank you so much Dear Edith, for sending me this precious postcard, all the way from Netherlands! Edith is one of postcrossing friend whom we manage to arrange a meetup in real life:) such a great memory to have them ( Edith and Jan ) come to my little hometown here in Tenom. They took a train from Beaufort to Tenom, and there we first meet, Tenom Railway! :)

Pura Besakih Temple, Bali.

Besakih Temple, often referred to as the "Mother Temple of Bali", is the largest and most important Hindu temple complex on the island. Nestled on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung, Bali's highest volcano, the temple is not only a major religious site but also a cultural icon that draws visitors from around the world.

The temple complex is a sprawling collection of 23 separate but related temples, with Pura Penataran Agung being the most significant among them. Besakih Temple is revered as the holiest of all Balinese temples, serving as a pilgrimage site for the Balinese Hindu community. It stands as a testament to the rich spiritual traditions of Bali, blending majestic architecture with profound religious practices.

Postcard from Malaysia's highest postbox! @ Pendant Hut 3289m - Mt Kinabalu

Do you know, there's a postbox, highest post box of Malaysia, which is located at Mt. Kinabalu? To reach this post box is no easy task though. You need to hike 6 KM to 3,289 Meters above sea level, but this effort adds more sentimental value to your postcard.
Once you arrive Laban Rata Resthouse, the main accommodation for climbers of Mt. Kinabalu, you still need to climb 100 Meters of staircase behind the resthouse to Pendant Hut, where the post box sitting next to. :D
considering all the efforts done to get there, i feel so lucky to be the receiver of this postcard :) whats more interesting is, the POSTMARK itself ! :) woaaahhhh! you can see three very special postmark on this postcard! :) tq son!
