America's most beautiful haardwood, used in variety of gift items, comes from the Myrtle tree which grows profusely in Southwestern Oregon.
The colour of the wood is unique, varying from sedate, satiny grey to riotously, multicoloured grains of red, yellow and brown. The grain has many burls which gives it swirling and greatly varying texture, each piece characteristic and yet beautifully different.
